I was born in Providence, RI, June 9, 1952. By the 1970's I realized that the singer-songwriters of that time period were the greatest geniuses of contemporary music and that with every performance they made history that needed to be recorded. I traveled North America at my own expense to photograph them from 1976-90, and had hundreds of images published in editorial contexts worldwide through Retna Ltd. of New York City. My photographs were in storage for decades, and hundreds destroyed in a flooded basement. In 2023, I decided to post some of my favorite shots online, in the hope that people will enjoy seeing the old stars when they were young, cool and beautiful.
