Description
Abbaye Notre-Dame de Senanque really is beautiful. I wish you could be there and smell the lavender. The aroma is intoxicating. It's a hottest time of year in France and lot and lots of bees are cruising above each and every flower. The sight is breathtaking and totally worth of getting and being there. Maybe some day I could visit it again.

Love the soft impressionistic style, when I first started painting I did a painting almost exactly the same as this subject wise. I like your handling of the field and Abbey better.

Really love the variety of your work, Anastasiya. Your pastel colors are so nice and clean. I just finished a pastel myself. Haven't photographed it yet. Do you consider pastels drawing or painting? Love the relaxed feel to your pieces. Hope to get there with mine eventually! V.

Thank you, Scott! I'm not sure if pastels artwork should be considered drawing or painting - I think it is both :)
