Description
A portrait of Eric Clapton I did in 1981 he was and still is a Rock God and is nicknamed, 'God', by his followers; he is the element of perfection in guitar/rock blues and so the name stuck with him to his displeasure as he is basically a modest man and didnt think he deserved such a title. Eric has a distinctive slow rock beat to some of his best loved blues pieces that he was also named, ' slow hand'. In this sketch I portrayed him during his bohemian era in the 70's with the long hair and moustache, around the time the name stuck with him, using a blue filter to illustrate the element of the blues, the music he loves and is known for, I used my scrolled hair techniques in this portrait, I love the blue effect as it brings life into this portrait
