Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Eggs of the Indian or Burmese python, Python molurus bivittatus, hatching. These juveniles will grow to an adult length of up to 10 m. Freshly laid python eggs are chalk-white or yellowish, soft, slightly shiny, and sticky. The sheen disappears after a few minutes. The eggs stick together, an adaption that reduces their total exposed surface area and helps prevent them from drying out. After a few hours the egg shell takes on a parchment texture. The female will then incubate her eggs for two months or more by wrapping her body around them and resting her head on top. These pythons are found in S.E. Asia, althought these eggs were from a captive specimen.
