Description
I used to wonder why Alaska was called "The Land Of The Midnight Sun", but I wonder no more. After seeing it for myself during the summer months, I soon realized that it never got completely dark at night. When the sun set it set just below the horizon and stayed there all night until it was ready to come up again.
Your viewing a scene of the Prince William sound between the coastal towns of Cordova and Valdez Alaska.

I was immediately drawn to this Nick. What an experience, especially after reading your description. Like the palest apple green moonlight and totally stilling.I can enter into the chilly but inviting silence here.So very special. v/f
