Description
One of the famed New York Public Library lions basks in the sun. Located in Midtown Manhattan, at 5th Avenue and 42nd Street, between Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal, the library opened on May 23, 1911, with a ceremony led by President William Howard Taft. In 2008, it was announced that the main branch building would be renamed the Stephen A. Schwarzman building, to honor his contribution of $100 million toward renovation and expansion.

👍 Jon, You created an Excellent Photo of his Majesty ! - Pharaoh Ramses II would have been proud to have such a magnificent Lion sculpture in his courtyard ! -
