The mighty Minotaur, half man half bull, stands upon a rock in an aggressive stance, The monster of ancient Greek myth, emerges from the mists of legend and glares at you with a menacing look.

This creature comes from a story about King Minos of Crete who kept the monster in a great labyrinth beneath his palace. Youths from other city-states where forced to enter the maze and compete with one another while facing the monster as tribute to the evil king. Eventually, the Minotaur was defeated by the hero Theseus. The legend is the basis for such modern stories as "The Maze Runner" and "The Hunger Games".
