Description
This is the first image I made in New Mexico after having driven 13 hours from Houston, TX, to Albuquerque. Not being really acquainted with the city and its possible shooting locations and scenic overlooks, and also being accompanied by my whole family, (wife, two kids, and mother-in-law), I had to really plan my shooting times and places well in advance. Thanks to Google Earth I was able to pinpoint this scenic vista spanning 140 degrees, at the intersection of La Cueva Road and Tramway Boulevard, in the Northeast quadrant of the city. I parked at one of the Cibola Forest trailheads, climbed the hill and positioned myself above La Cueva Road. Waiting for the sun to appear behind the low hanging clouds, I fired 7 vertical shots to compose this panorama. Thanks for looking! FAA watermark WILL NOT show up on final printed image.

Great scene Slivio! Love how the highway leads to the highest mountain and the beautiful sky!
