The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. The map covers New York City, including Manhattan (from about 34th St. northward), the Bronx, part of Queens, as well as the region north of the city to about Hastings-on-Hudson and Scarsdale. Includes numerous details, including the locations of towns, neighborhoods, roads, buildings, railroads, as well as elevation contour lines.
