A ceramic, porcelain, and glaze sculpture. This depicts what happened after the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden by the US Military as ordered by President Obama. The world was told he was buried at sea, within 24 hours of his death. Listening to many Republican members of the US Congress giving speeches about how they had doubts, how they wondered where Bin Laden was. This is where I imagined him to be. In the ocean, becoming fish food, as things in the ocean do. I finished this sculpture on May 2, 2012, one year after his reported death. The original sculpture is available for purchase. Done with all food safe glazes, it could be placed in an aquarium with real fish. It was created with the intention that hopefully one day it will be a museum piece of art, depicting contemporary history.
