This is my first purchase from Fine Art America. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to hang in our newly renovated master bathroom wall. I searched all over the internet and then came upon Fine Art America online. It took months of searching but when I came upon Carol Robinson's collection I liked her style and soft, airy prints. I found Lost Horizon and knew right away that was the look I had been searching for. I like that I was able to choose the print size, frame, and mat that helped procure the look I wanted. Just having a little fun by taking the expression "Drinks are on the house" literally. In American English, the phrase means that the drinks are free - i.e. the "house" or establishment or someone else who has offered to pay is buying a round of drinks for everyone. This is usually done as a celebratory gesture. In an attempt at a little humor or whimsy, I have put an assortment of alcoholic drinks on the roof of a house: a glass of wine, a screwdriver, a rum and Coke, a martini, a creme de menthe, a Bloody Mary, an aperitif, a Kahlua, and a margarita.

I appreciate that, Arlane :) This one was a lot of fun to put together. I had the idea but needed a flat-roofed house to pull it off. I live in the Midwest where roofs are slanted because of the snow, so it took quite a bit of driving around and looking to find one :) Then I needed the drinks - had no fancy glasses to speak of. So I went to a nearby restaurant with a bar and borrowed some - had to leave a credit card for collateral LOL I made the "cocktails" mostly with colored water and coffee and tea though I did use real tomato juice for the bloody Mary :) Thanks so much for letting me know you enjoyed it.
