I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Going Home for the Holidays a dream of mine.
If grandma and grandpa where still alive.
I set down my suitcase and run toward them.
Embraces and smiles on their faces.
"Come in child, sit down and have some coffee and cake!" grandma said
Your room is ready and a hot water bottle warming your bed!"
Grandpa's face looks happy and red
and some tears in his eyes,
I'll never forget.
So sad, I can never go home for the Holidays again.
Only memories remain, bu they are vivid and sweet.
I am glad I have them, and put them on canvas for you.
