Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Quite beautiful!
Dark and shadowy black and white image of a man's silhouette on stairs at the Tower of London, England. Art by Joseph Westrupp, bestilled.com.
The original shot was quite innocent and light; my goal in processing was to add some Victorian Gothic charm, and imbue it with a sinister narrative befitting the place. Apologies to the rather benign, balding, middle-aged man on the stairs for the vilifying portrayal; you just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

And yet it was, for you, the right place, right time; and without a scapegoat: who would absorb, understand and share the feelings of all that the place implies? To the effect of a human; and so you present us a human. Quite motive and very effective, bravo. tdp
Joseph Westrupp replied:
Indeed! Thanks for the kind words, TDP.

Yeah, provides a bit of intrigue, doesn't he? :)

No apologies for the man...the man carries the image !!
