Super high quality print, very happy with my purchase !!
Lincoln's look is very intense. This statue of Abraham Lincoln in the Lincoln memorial in Washington DC was carved by the Piccinilli Brothers under supervision of the sculptor Daniel Chester French. It took 4 years to complete. The statue was originally meant to be only 10 feet tall but was finally enlarged to be 19 feet tall. At this final proportion, it fits naturally and perfectly into its surroundings. The epitaph above the statue reads "In this temple as in the hearts of the people for who he save the Union the memory of Abraham Lincoln is enshrined forever". One urban legend surmises that Lincoln's hands were carved such that his left hand was shaped to form the "A" of American Sign Language while his right hand forms an "L". It is said to be a reasonable assumption since the sculptor had a son who was deaf, and also that Lincoln singned the federal legislation giving Gallaudet University (a university for the deaf) the authority to grant college degrees.

Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
