My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
An impressionist painting of an Ostrich in a field of blue poppies. This quirky ostrich was painted with a palette knife for a feathery texture. A fun quirky animal painting for kitchen decor, nursery, or kid's room.
Ostriches are similar to emus, but there are a few differences. Emus are about 25% shorter than ostriches and have three toes. The ostrich has only two and is the only bird with two toes. Ostriches are the largest birds in the world and emus, the second largest. The emu has deep brown feathers. During the mating season emu hens grow black feathers on the head and the bare skin on the head turns blue. Male ostriches have black feathers with white on the wings and tails and females have grey brown feathers.
Emus can run up to 30 MPH and the ostrich has speeds of up to 40 MPH. Emus are farmed for their oil, meat and leather and ostriches bred for their feathers meat and leather.
