Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A group of people with umbrellas stand on a wet street, casting reflections on the shiny surface beneath them. Warm tones of gold, brown, and yellow dominate the painting, contrasting with the cool blues and purples of the umbrellas. Bright light suggests a setting sun or a city bathed in the warm glow of evening.
About Tate Hamilton
I have been painting for many years and enjoy painting in a "painterly" style. To create my style I use the general "painterly" philosophy, large shapes which begin with my darkest darks and whittle them down into smaller lighter shapes. I generally only use a #12 brush and get big thick brushstrokes. I only use 5 colors on my palette: Cad yellow,Cad red,Alizarin Crimson,Ultramarine blue and Sap green. These 5 have painted everything you will see on this website. I can paint just about any subject and prefer painting cityscapes. Painting to me is about having fun and challenging myself, using the basic visual elements. Email me with questions,comments or if you wish to purchase one of my paintings.
