Using as a wallet
As I have written the pointing dog will help a lot for the find of a woodcock, this photo taken in September 2009 it is a souvenir of Ranger which was my 2nd pointing dog.
The pointing dog he run in the woodland to search game birds, for us it is the American Woodcock and the Ruffed Grouse, when he becomes aware of the bird by its scent, he goes in that direction and then stops and point on that direction, it means there is a bird American Woodcock or Ruffed Grouse, I arrive at its height, I place myself, the bird takes off and I shoot the picture, it is more difficult to photograph a Ruffed Grouse in-flight than a American Woodcock.
