"Variety 2 – An Exhibition of Photographs & Paintings by Sascha Meyer" was inaugurated by the Honourable Minister of Gozo Giovanna Debono on the 2nd of December at the Victoria Local Council, Banca Giuratale, Independence Square in Victoria, Gozo. Sascha Meyer is an artist from Germany who chose Gozo as his adopted home. His main themes are landscape photography and contemporary art painting. This exhibition shows an overview of his work of the past sixteen years. The present visitors appreciated this exhibition as a gain for the cultural life on Gozo. The exhibition is still on display until the 2nd of January 2011. Opening times: Mon - Fri 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sat 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., Sun 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Location: St Georges Basilica Parish Centre, Victoria (Gozo, Malta) Public viewing: 12 June – 12 July 2010 (8:30 - 12:30 / 14:30 - 19:30) Inauguration: 12 June 2010 at about 21:00 (after the free concert which starts at 20:00) Sascha Meyer was born on February 7, 1975 in Berlin, Germany. He studied in Berlin. Since 2008 he has lived in Victoria (Gozo). He photographs landscapes, villages, feasts and more. Memberships: Verband Österreichischer Amateurfotografen-Vereine (Austria), Photographic Society of America (USA), 1. Deutscher MINOX-Club e.V. (Germany), Community of Malta Artists (Malta). Moreover he has a photographers card of the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique.
