I am a biologist by training that got into photography about 19 years ago. I have always loved being outdoors. Over many years I have developed an eye for dramatic lighting and wonderful scenes. My photography captures those beautiful vistas and wonders of nature. I use Nikon equipment and currently shoot with a Nikon 810 camera. I didn't switch to a digital camera until about 9 years ago and for me it was a struggle going from film to digital. With film the image I received from the processor was what I captured. With digital I shot and continue to shoot all raw images. The struggle came in post processing those images. I wanted to stay close to what I saw as I took the image. Today that is still my goal. I use a mixture of Lightroom, Photoshop and Lumenza for processing my raw images.
I currently live in Brownwood, Texas but travel most summers.
