Buffalo Art
In 1871, a soldier described a bison herd so large that it took him six days to ride through it. These mighty animals, often confused with buffalo, were almost hunted to extinction. True buffalo inhabit Asia and Africa. By 1890, only 23 American bison remained in Wyoming. Today, it has grown to 3,500 animals because of conservation efforts in Yellowstone National Park. Show your love of these mighty beasts by displaying bison or buffalo artwork.
