As a teenager living in Southern New Jersey in the 1970s I worked summer jobs to save up for my first 35mm camera, a Canon AE-1. I spent a lot of time in the farms, orchards, fields, and shorelines of New Jersey shooting everything, which became rather expensive (this was well before the age of digital).
