Dystopia Are you tired of seeing the same old happy and cheerful art everywhere?
Do you have a dark and twisted vision of the future that you want to share with the world? If so, you might be interested in entering our art contest called '𝐃𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚'.

𝐃𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚 is a genre of art, literature and film that depicts a bleak and oppressive society, where human rights are violated, environmental disasters are rampant, and technology is used for evil.

A 𝐝𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚 (from Ancient Greek δυσ (dus) 'bad', and τόπος (tópos) 'place'), also called a cacotopia or anti-utopia, is a speculated community or society that is undesirable or frightening.
It is often treated as an antonym of utopia, a term that was coined by Sir Thomas More and figures as the title of his best known work, published in 1516, which created a blueprint for an ideal society with minimal crime, violence, and poverty.

Whether you use paint, pencil, digital tools, or any other medium, we want to see your creative and original interpretation of what 𝐃𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚 means to you.

Whatever you do, make sure it's original and eye-catching!

Each participant may submit 3 images. All media are allowed.

Kudos for those who can come up with something that we haven't seen before about this subject.

And as usual, there will be no foolish 'family friendly' or 'NSFW' - bigotry or other narrow-minded censorship.
