Concrete Jungle

Firstly, a question for Fine Art America. WHY IS MY ROBIN SIDEWAYS? Now that's over with, take a look at this weeks contest.

You don't have to venture into the wilderness to have an incredible encounter with wildlife. Some of my most memorable have been in towns and cities, whether it's been the Peregrine Falcons nesting in my local town centre, or exploring some of the green spaces within the towns and cities across the country finding some of my favourite songbirds.

So here's what I want from you all this week:

1. 1 entry only, in any medium you desire, showing some of the wildlife in a town or city. Maybe you wish to explore the green spaces within the city as I did in my example photo, explore your garden, or see whats thriving in our concrete paradises. The choice is yours.

2. For this competition, send in pictures of wild species only please. No domestic cats, dogs etc. As long as you aren't focusing purely on boring humans in your entry, anything living (animal, plant, fungi, etc.) in your town/city is fine.

3. Keep it family friendly. No explicit images, no violence, no death etc.

4. Discussion, praise and constructive criticism is encouraged. Any bullying or offensive comments won't be tolerated and your entry will be removed from the competition.

5. Please vote if you can. You can vote for up to 10 artworks. No vote soliciting please. Anyone doing this will have their entry removed from the competition.

6. As always, work must be your own. Plagiarized works will be removed from the competition.

7. This is the most important one - HAVE FUN!

There will be no big prizes. This one is all about participation.
