Beautiful rendering. Quality card stock.
I have been working on a series of paintings I call "Vanishing Vistas". They are paintings of subjects that are changing and disappearing. This is one of those spots. Yes, Pikes Peak may always be there, but not the foreground. Before too long the views will be cluttered with development. This is an original one-of-a-kind painting and is subject to availability. Price is subject to change. Price includes a frame selected by the artist. Price includes packing, handling and standard UPS shipping in the lower 48 states. Packing, Insurance & UPS Ground calculated at 8% of Retail Price. Motor Freight for oversized packages will be billed at actual costs.

Thank you. I'm thinking about setting up a Board on my Pinterest site dedicated to locations where I painted around Pikes Peak that are now burned. I'd like to show people the pre-burn beauty. It will take 75 years to recover. These places are gone in our lifetimes.

Beautiful work, Kenneth. I have been watching the fire pretty closely. I just love the Colorado Springs area. I am so glad you have captured what you did before the fire.
Kenneth Shanika
Hi Jennifer. Yes this is along the Ring the Peak Trail near Catmont North. The fire has not reached there. However many of my favorite painting place have most likely been distroyed. I'll not know until the fire is out and at some point they re-open those areas. It may take five or more years before they let people into the burn areas. It breaks my heart. For over ten years I've been working my series of paintings I call "Vanishing Vistas". For sure many beautiful views are being lost. I'll keep working the series. It will be interesting 20 years from now to try to find many of the places I'm recording.

What a beautiful image. Is this on the Ring the Peak trial? I wonder if this lovely spot has been destroyed by the fire.
