Description
Mirko - ABANDON - This was done in a day for my sister's birthday with the help of my 10 year old nice! My sis just moved in a new flat and she brought me a picture and the canvas, asking for specific colors; beige, brown and black!!! My nice helped to prepare the background and assist me during the whole process... The painting was not dry so I couldn't varnish it, but we manage to take it over anyway and hang it to surprise her. She loved it. I had to wait months before varnishing it! Most of my best pieces are made in less than a day... just a glim's at something I like, or an idea and I jump on my stuff...

Mirko, Fantastic painting love the feeling of the emotion that this painting gives off and when a photo or a painting is able to accomplish that you know you have something very special you are looking at. Fantastic details and remarkable blend of colors throughout this painting. Great story line in the description box which makes the painting even more interesting. Excellent painting, voted, Google, Tweet and FB promoted for CFC Round #26

The title really suits this piece - there is such a sad, melancholic feel to this. I love the lines in her surroundings almost making a cage. V&F
