Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About Mary Armstrong
Horses were among the first subjects I loved to draw so Equine art became my specialty. I have loved the movement and beauty of horses since a young child. Browse my art and you will see other subjects, even some abstracts which I hope you enjoy or comment on. Just email via my website here on FAA. I especially love to show fluid movement, soft and also strong line and color from subtle to strong in most of my art. You might say the colors and lines dance across the paper, board or canvas. Over the years I’ve have sold a variety of paintings and drawings. Many were also a part of commercial or advertising projects during my years as a graphic artist/designer. Your work is going to sell. It took me about a year and 6 mos. to get my first sale, but then they started coming about every month. It's nice to be able to keep your paintings, not worry about the returns and shipping costs. I just love this site. Things dried up this month but hopefully I'll be getting more sales again soon. Hang on, be patient. I had totally ignored it when I got my first sale. Figures. Good Luck! This loose watercolor style is wonderful. I teach botanical watercolor. Your subject theme seems to be mostly horses. That's fantastic.
Mary Armstrong replied:
Thanks for that info Mindy. Often things just take time!

Thanks, Amy. I had a couple black ponies similar when I was young. I love drawing the horses.
