Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. Cyclops crustacean larva. Light micrograph of a cyclops (Cyclops sp.) nauplius larva. A nauplius is the first larval stage of a crustacean in which the thorax and abdomen have not developed yet. Nauplii larvae do not feed, but use internal yolk reserves from the egg for energy. Cyclops is one of the most common genera of freshwater copepods, a group of small crustaceans, and is a component of plankton. Individuals may range from 0.5-5 millimetres long. The name comes from the Greek word meaning one eye which may be either red or black in cyclops.
