very nice colorful clear print of the Catesby image. Unfortunately, the Women's medium size would fit child. Had to reorder and XL to account for future shrinkage. I will donate the tiny one to an auction since I have no one to give it to. Rated a 4 star only because of the size problem. It is a quality t-shirt.

The print on this shirt is amazing and so cute, but I received a light blue heather color and not this deep blue color. Additionally, the shirt sizing seems to run small, so we ordered and paid for multiple shirts and couldn't even wear them, which was very upsetting! Having worked with multiple shirt vendors for multiple venues for different events, we have never seen shirts that are this much smaller than typical sizing. None of us were able to wear them and we ordered three different shirts in this women's style and two in the men's normal style. Please note this for your buyers so everyone will size up, maybe even two sizes!

George Washington Carver (1864 - January 5, 1943) was an African-American scientist, botanist, educator, and inventor born into slavery. In 1891 he attended and studied botany at Iowa State Agricultural College where he was the first black student, and later taught as the first black faculty member. His reputation is based on his research into and promotion of alternative crops to cotton, such as peanuts, soybeans and sweet potatoes, which also aided nutrition for farm families. He wanted poor farmers to grow alternative crops both as a source of their own food and as a source of other products to improve their quality of life. As an agricultural chemist, Carver discovered three hundred uses for peanuts and hundreds more for soybeans, pecans and sweet potatoes. He died in 1943, at the age of 78. In 1977, he was elected to the Hall of Fame for Great Americans. In 1990, he was inducted into the National Inventors Hal...
