The image: fantastic. Exactly the image I was looking for, of the USS Clamagore (SS-343). The shirt: Color is a good royal blue. Fabric is fine. I wish the other shirts had a higher cotton content; I'd prefer the ladies' cut but it's only 50% cotton so I tried the youth shirt. After measuring my own t-shirts, I should have fit either medium or large, and went with large. Good thing I did! The large fits me and I'll keep it, but I do prefer a lil oversize so will try the X-large youth next time--and if I try the ladies' model I'll go for 2X-large!

His reputation is based on his research into and promotion of alternative crops to cotton, such as peanuts, soybeans and sweet potatoes, which also aided nutrition for farm families. He wanted poor farmers to grow alternative crops both as a source of their own food and as a source of other products to improve their quality of life. As an agricultural chemist, Carver discovered three hundred uses for peanuts and hundreds more for soybeans, pecans and sweet potatoes. He died in 1943, at the age of 78. In 1977, he was elected to the Hall of Fame for Great Americans. In 1990, he was inducted into the National Inventors Hal...
