This artwork was the central gift for the retirement celebration of our Administrative Assistant. She broke down in tears upon opening it up. She was quite moved.

This image is so wonderful in my therapy room. My clients love it and hummingbirds are so special. So pleased.

This is surely my wife, Marion, and our dog, Roscoe. I decided to marry her 30 years ago on a blanket in the park, just about like this. Roscoe even has an orange Frisbee, and Marion had red hair. We love that you featured Marion and Roscoe on the cover of our beloved New Yorker. That's our story, and we're sticking with it. Thank you.

This picture is great. The first one arrived damaged (thanks FedEx) but it was replaced quickly and I love it- the wood back makes the picture softer in appearance- I would buy again!

Artist's Description

Apache chief Geronimo (1829-1909) was born in the upper Gila River country of Arizona. Although he harbored animosity toward the Mexican soldiers who killed his wife and children, he also grew to dislike the Anglo-Americans who took over the region following the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. After his Chiricahua Apaches were forced onto Arizona’s San Carlos Reservation in the mid-1870s, Geronimo led his followers on a series of escapes that bolstered his legend and embarrassed the U.S. government. He surrendered to General Nelson Miles in 1886, and remained a celebrity in captivity until his death at Oklahoma’s Fort Sill.
