This Green coconut's cafe found along the "Berlin Wall", crowded every morning by citizen of Sorong town especially of morning walk sport lovers around 06:00 to 08:00 AM. the coconut traders are generally coming from indigenous Papua women who inhabit several islands infront of Sorong city, including Sop and Buaya Islands. Every family on these island has a coconut plantation either in their home yard or on the large grounds. Every morning at about 05.00 AM they arrange the coconuts on the Berlin Wall . "Berlin" is short word for "Berlindung". We usually call it " Tembok Berlin" (in Indonesia) which means "Protection Wall". The Wall have been build by Sorong municipal government to protect the coastal from the lapping of Pacific ocean waves that raged in irregular seasons. Sometime I stopping by such a favorite place after one hour of morning sport, I stop here for a moment to drink and rest. . While enjoying coconut drink, you can also enjoy the beautiful beaches. Many old, young and kids as well as some foreign tourists were coming to spend an hour swimming, sunning under the brightly morning sunshine along the beach. From hence, if the weather is sunny, you can see the world-famous Raja Ampat archipelago with its beauty of the marine park and dives .... the one of the world-wide marine tourism destination location . There are several Hotel just close this place, such as Belagri hotel, Mamberamo Hotel, Waigo hotel, and more. This painting was sketched directly at its place by me in 2016, and waited for the right time to transfer over the canvas. Right on April 27, 2018, I started working with Classico oil. This is the first time I use this oil medium and it seems that the painting is not finished yet.
