I bought this tapestry for my mother who is in the final stages of lung caner. I wanted to brighten her room and bring her some cheer. I paid extra to have it shipped Next Day Air. We received the package 5 days after ordering. However, I was very diappointed at the taperstry when I opened it. It is very blurry and distorted. The fabric is OKAY somewhat thin, but not terrible. I have ordered many tapestries from another company recently as Christmas gifts for 1/2 the price that are way better quality and very clear and vibrant. I will not order again from Fine Art America....

Excellent quality. I am so pleased with my purchase, it's much better than I imagined. The image is crisp clear and the fabric is very good quality and hemmed all around. I have bought it to hang in my apartment in Tenerife which we have called The Kestrels as these birds fly and hover around it all day. I can't wait to return and hang it on the wall.

This is becoming the focal point of a four poster bed canopy.

It’s been almost two months and I still haven’t gotten my package after contacting Fine Art America multiple times. Would not buy from them again.

Artist's Description

The site of Madame Sherris Castle Ruins is in Chesterfield New Hampshire. The ruins of her house remind me of any that I have seen around the world. The forlorn feeling of the life that was and this is my interpretation of Madame Sherri still roaming her home and wondering where her friends are. Located in Cook Town Forest. Built in the 1920s, this was for a time an extravagant location visited by the rich and famous from Broadway and the interesting tales only grow with the passing of the years. We will never know the true stories but that is half the fun.
