Gorgeous image! V & F! This reminds me of the poem by Rimbaud "le bateau ivre" "the drunken boat. "Or moi, bateau perdu sous les cheveux des anses, Jeté par l'ouragan dans l'éther sans oiseau, Moi dont les Monitors et les voiliers des Hanses N'auraient pas repêché la carcasse ivre d'eau ;"

Cheap, cheap, cheap. Cheap quality, not price.

The material was sent in a bag and was extremely creased

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

"Mary D Hume" by Debra and Dave Vanderlaan ...The Mary D Hume, a coastal steamer, was built in 1880 and served the Pacific Coast until she arrived at her final resting place in 1978. She rests here, near the mouth of the Rouge River at Gold Beach, Oregon. Presented in a textured vintage style to match this wonderful ship and the feeling when viewing and photographing this abandoned derelict boat...

About Debra and Dave Vanderlaan

"After 30 years in the floral and plant nursery business, Debra and Dave Vanderlaan sold both businesses and turned their life-long photography hobby into full-time obsession. The Vanderlaans are both award-winning photographers and well-known both domestically and internationally. Many of their images showcase the tropical landscapes of South Florida and the mountain vistas of the Smoky Mountains and many gorgeous scenes around the world. Their motto is Celebrate Life and that seemed a natural name for their gallery. Their images have been displayed in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC, at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Turchin Art Center in Boone NC, the Palm Beach Photography Museum, the Art Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia,...
