Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Sunken Jewels was created by manipulating Polaroid Time Zero Film as it was developing. The emulsion on Time Zero Film is very thick and composed of separate dye layers. These dyes are kind of like peanut butter and can be moved by applying pressure to the protective coating on the very top of the film. You can see the layers of dye overlap like transparent ribbons and how the emulsion is distorted creating mountains and valleys on the image. My reason for making these images was to push the limits of the old technology and incorporate it into the new digital world of film. These images really stand out in a crowd and are very vibrant and colorful. Please feel free to leave a message if you have any questions or comments.
