About Acrylic Prints

Acrylic Print with Mounting Posts

Mounting Option #1

Acrylic Print with Hanging Wire

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Average Rating (4.93 Stars):

Great photograph and it looks perfect on the sturdy acrylic

October 10th, 2019

Photo is of beautiful resolution but the finish was not properly done; acrylic has multiple delamination’s along face where it was not pressed fully. Product was ordered for event and the turnover time frame was not short enough to address and correct.

Very unhappy with the art. It looks like it was painted on corrugated paper., not a canvas. I’m going to have to hide this under the bed or in the garage. Just not my taste.

This painting is beautiful. The acrylic is very shiny which creates some glare. I just love it!

The photograph is on our zen themed bathroom wall and it is lovely. We are very satisfied and grateful for the artist's work.

Beautiful

Artist's Description

Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse. This road suspension bridge spanned 1810 metres across the Tacoma Narrows strait in Puget Sound, in the US state of Washington. It opened on 1 July 1940, but collapsed on 7 November 1940 due to oscillations caused by aeroelastic flutter in gale-force winds. The oscillations produced waves several metres in height, increasing and undulating along the bridge until the eventual collapse.

About Library Of Congress/science Photo Library

Library Of Congress/science Photo Library

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
