The Eye of the Dragon (Cymru)

A minimalist stormy Welsh landscape in (mostly) indigo blue. The convex appearance of the image caused some viewers to see in the image the reflection of an enormous eye, seeing the copse in the center as a pupil, and one such viewer, Melanie Phifer Miller, even suggested as the title "the eye of a dragon." I liked it, and have come to refer to it in that way. The original title was "Cymru" - Wales - and the association of dragons with that beautiful nation made it seem appropriate somehow.
