I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

The bridge spanning the narrows from Crown Point on the New York side to Chimney Point on the far side, in Vermont.
This narrows is the separation where Lake Champlain ends and the Hudson River begins. Due to the short distance across the waterway, this made Crown Point an extremely important strategic area in early North American history.
The trade route from Canada to New York City via The Richelieu River in the north, through Lake Champlain, then down the Hudson River southward to Albany and New York had, of course, to pass this point and being only approximately a quarter of a mile wide, whoever controlled Crown Point, controlled traffic on the river.
