This is the view of Pikes Peak from the main entrance to the Garden of the Gods park. It was a clear day and Pikes Peak was lit by the early morning light. One of my students motovated me to create this painting. The student wanted to paint a picture from the Garden of the Gods. As we went through my reference photographs we found this view. It had been several years since I created a painting from the Garden of the Gods. This is the results. I hope you enjoy.
