Item was lost in transit. Tough figuring out how to contact Fine Art. Finally received 6 weeks after placing order. Then received the original shipment.

Artist's Description

Ex- N&W articulated steam locomotive #1218, leads a passenger excursion from a tunnel onto a bridge crossing Mill Creek, just west of Old Fort, North Carolina, in 1989.

About Gordon Mooneyhan

I'm Gordon Mooneyhan and have been a photographer since before high school. I was born in Connecticut, but moved to South Carolina while I was still in school. Even though I grew up in the south (I graduated from Myrtle Beach [SC] High School in 1976), I never lost my love for rural New England. Largely self-taught, my photography interests are varied and include trains and landscapes, as well as macro-photos of nature. I didn't totally convert to digital until Kodak announced the end of Kodachrome--probably the best color film ever made.
