A beautiful African lion painted in multicolour by British artist Sarah Stribbling.
The original painting was donated to Sketch for survival and raised £1,400 for wildlife charity.
I have been fascinated by wildlife and the natural world from an early age. Inspired and encouraged by my father, I started drawing professionally in 2003. I graduated from Newcastle University with a Zoology degree in 2004 and in 2006 gained a Masters degree in Biodiveristy and Conservation at Leeds University. I was a finalist for the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year and have had my work displayed in the Mall galleries in London. I was also part of the Wildlife Art Company set up by Zoology and TV presenter Mark Carwardine for two years. My work is currency licensed by MGL licensing.
