Description

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Schonbrunn Palace is a former imperial 1,441-room Rococo summer residence in modern Vienna, Austria. One of the most important cultural monuments in the country, since the 1960s it has been one of the major tourist attractions in Vienna. The palace and gardens illustrate the tastes, interests, and aspirations of successive Habsburg monarchs. In the year 1569, Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II purchased a large floodplain of the Wien river beneath a hill, situated between Meidling and Hietzing, where a former owner, in 1548, had erected a mansion called Katterburg. The emperor ordered the area to be fenced and put game there such as pheasants, ducks, deer and boar, in order to serve as the court's recreational hunting ground. In a small separate part of the area, "exotic" birds such as turkeys and peafowl were kept. Fishponds were built, too. The name Schonbrunn (meaning "beautiful spring"), has its roots in an artesian well from which water was consumed by the court. During the next cen...

About Giovanni Chianese

Giovanni Chianese is a young photographer that loves travelling. He based in Naples where he was born in 1976. He discovered his love for photography thanks to a young photographer he met on one of his journeys. His desire to learn and improve his photo sensibility led him to take part in several workshops, some of which were held by famous photographers, like Richard Tuschman and Robert Herman. In October 2016 he was awarded Honorable Mention in Fine Art - Other at International Photography Awards for the winning entry Loneliness. In July 2016 he studied Fashion Photography at London University of Arts - Central Saint Martins. In May 2016 he took part at London Photo Festival.
