200 Years Ago. NOTE: These prints have a deliberate grainy look. Historical and vintage look and feel in this subject of my artworks. They are specifically designed and created to ensure the viewer of the art will (on first glance) think the art was taken 100 years ago or at some other historical time period. The other important factor in my vintage artwork is the composition of the subject. In historical and vintage creation of art the subject is of the same importance as the aged look of the art. You need to be left with a visual impression as if the art was lying on someone's desk for years, and that over that time the art had coffee or tea spilt onto it, along with being sandwiched between other artworks and old notes and on the desk which have left a shallow imprint into the art.
Art is an amazingly subjective medium. What can appear as an everyday piece of work to one person may be an absolutely stunning piece of individual interpretation to another. This is due to each of us having our individual perceptions on what constitutes great artwork, and the influences that have shaped our lives. I like to make each piece of art as individual as a snowflake, as unique as the faces of every person on earth, and as artistic and individually interpretive as it can be. I have a passion for creating individual pieces of art using photographic and digital realms.
