Standing under the United States of America flag Vietnam veterans remember comrades who have died. The flag stands out against the clear blue sky. Poem Writing A New Book was written and is copyrighted by Carolyn Marshall. I know many veterans who deal daily with PTSD and memories of their service they can't seem to shake. I wrote this just to show that there is hope and that no matter how long it takes, we are here for them.

I have been a photographer for many years. For so long, in fact, that I can no longer imagine my life without a camera to capture its special moments. It took me quite some time before I was able to connect myself to being an artist, because in my mind a photographer and an artist were two distinctly different things. While they were both creative, they used entirely different processes to achieve their artistic goals.
