Not vivid in colour like expected also it was an expensive gift for someone that arrived screwed up in a thin polythene bag. Not even folded with card to keep in place , even budget brands on the cheap high street stores have them folded and well presented very disappointed to be honest.

Great colors literally perfect print wise! I just wish it was thicker like a warm blanket. But look wise it was perfect. I used it for a contest I was doing.

Artist's Description

I'm a Firefighter and have painted firefighters in action for close to 20 years. Like the impression left by the firefighters climbing the WTC to make complete the largest rescues in US history. That is why I painted A New York City firefighters helmet place on an American Flag. I don't think I need to say anymore except, NEVER FORGET!

About Paul Walsh

My name is Paul Joseph Walsh and I was raised in Newington CT. I had an inherent artist interest and began painting at an early age. I was encouraged by family and art teachers to continue to expand my artistic ability. I also had an interest in firefighting at an early age. I joined the fire service as a volunteer in 1979. After serving 5 years, my love for firefighting transitioned to a career with the City of New Britain Fire Department (NBFD). I'm currently a Deputy Chief with NBFD and a third generation firefighter. I attended Central Connecticut State University for graphic arts and Hartford State Technical College for fire science. I was inspired by a friend and New York City Firefighter/Artist John Goss to paint firefighters as my...
