This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

Artist's Description

A beautiful mill located in the Missouri Ozarks. Morning light and no other visitors made it for a wonderful photo shoot.
Alley was home, farm, and school for people who lived here a century ago. Dances, baseball games, and roller-skating were all part of Alleys busier days. The first mill was built in 1868. A post office was established, named after a prominent local farming family, Alley. From that day to this, the area has been nown as Alley Spring, Alley Mill, or just plain Alley. The present building was connstructed during 1893-1894 by George Washington McCaskill as a merchant mill. With a turbine rather than a water wheel, and with rollers rather than stone grist stones, it was considered to be very "high tech" for its day. It served the needs of the local community by processing the farmers' grain. Originally unpainted, it was first painted white with green trim, then later the famous red color associated with Alley Mill today.

About Lynn Sprowl

Lynn Sprowl

For me, photography is about what I "feel" when I see an image. I want my photo to capture…a mood, an emotion, a story. I have a wide range of subjects that I like to photograph but tend to look at the ordinary. Like most photographers, I love nature and the splendid array of opportunities and subjects provided. I find the “abandoned” is a constant source of intrigue and make for interesting photography. I find beauty and mystery in the ordinary. Shooting in RAW format is a key element in my post-processing. The additional steps allow me to edit exposure, contrast, color and brightness without any reduction of quality. I often continue the editing process, as needed, to produce the final image I want to share. I honestly love...
