The title indicates to me that there is no future for the natural Tasmanian Landscape, its fauna and flora, and the downstream natural environment will gradually change the natural world.
This road leads to the Wilmot River which is about 3ks from where I am standing. There is a young plantation of eucalyptus nitons both sides of the farm land, then linking up behind the far hill and spreading down towards the River. The plantation trees only stay in the ground for 11 to 12 years, then they are cut down, stumps pulled out and burned. And top soil lost for all time down the rivers. During the time of the preparation to plant and then maintain the tree, the plantation land gets poisoned to kill all Tasmanian Native Marsupials so that the small trees dont get eaten by the hungry animal grazers that have been dislocated from there environment.
