Love this piece Margaret! You have captured a contagious smile here for sure! The colours you have chosen really get the feeling of joy across. I also love your description which helps to contextualise your work. All the best with sales for this and raising money for the worthy cause.

t is enormously difficult to capture a smile in portraiture without making it look almost creepily static. You have done a marvelous job in portraying the strong emotions and expressions of this painting. The smile is engaging and delightful. I could look at her for hours!! perfect color choices!!

Margaret Bobb replied:

Thank you so much, Talya! Such a wonderful comment from such a superb portrait artist as yourself means the world to me! Thank you, too, for the feature!

What a shy girl! Nice job! One of my customer's did volunteer work in Haiti. She did several paintings of Haiti and the people and the sale of the prints and notecards have gone to Haiti reflief funds and to pay her and her husbands way back there. And thanks for your comments on my Fair Faces of Courage . . . that means a lot hearing from a vet. Keep up the good work. Bob Wilson, Jr.
