Artist's Description
The beautiful beaches of Maui, Hawaii are loved by residents and visitors alike Many are considered some of the best beaches in the world for snorkeling and diving. This one is located on the north side of the island at the famous "Mama's Fish House" Restaurant. Striking lava walls are part of the landscaping of the home on the prow of the hill. As Hawaiian islands are volvanic, there is no shortage of the dark lava rocks! The island of Molokai is seen the background.
About Kirsten Giving
I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors. I have included some of my work in various Collections. I am a retired teacher, play golf, travel, camp, make jewelry, read, paint, make collages, and sew. Thank you for viewing my galleries.
