This fine painting of the Tree of Life or ”Yggdrasil” as it is known in the old Nordic mythology - we live in the nordic part of Europe, in Sweden. When you look at this painting, many thougts comes to your mind.

Artist's Description

The Dead Sea known in Israel as Yam HaMelach (Sea of Salt). It has a very high salt content and animals can not live in it. Thus its name the Dead Sea. It is 1380 feet below sea level and the land surrounding it is the lowest place of dry land on earth. To the east of the Dead Sea is Jordan. The Jordan River is its main tributary. People use the minerals from the Dead Sea for cosmetics and lotions. It is the first known mineral bath. People come to the Dead Sea and spread its mud all over themselves.
