The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. The Abbie Gardner Cabin was one of the Iowa locations attacked by indians in the 1857 "Spirit Lake Massacre." This cabin later became one of Iowa's first tourist attractions. The Gardner Cabin survives as a reminder of one of Iowa's tragic frontier events. This photo was taken during an event telling the dramatic stories of Abbie Gardner and the Dakota leader, Inkpaduta. The State Historical Society of Iowa owns and preserves the Gardner Cabin.
